Having bought a used car 2 months ago I'm really happy it came with 6 months warranty. It seems one of the turbos on the diesel is gone I'm not sure if it is 2 stage (I think it is), since there is no pull from the engine whatsoever anymore. Have to floor it to get up to 80 kph.
One thing I had not expected to see in real-life is how much fuel a turbo saves. When I floor it to get up to 80 my fuel usage is 28l/100km, 8.4 US mpg, instead of the normal 10l/100km, 23.5 US mpg

Citroën C6 2.7 V6 diesel from 2007. I think it got fixed yesterday, not sure yet. We went to the salesman who drove it for a little bit and noticed the issue.
Then went over to the workshop where one of the mechanics floored it for 15-20 seconds and after that it seems ok, so maybe something got clogged somewhere, don't know for sure, but there is a checkup planned for next week.

ahh citroen! i live in north america so we haven't had those in a while.. i heard the french prime minister (?) has a diesel hybrid citroen, that's the stuff made of dreams.
i had a '91 saab 900 spg a while back and the turbo went out, which was really weird because it didnt blow up, it was intermittent one commute then just quit. it was a quick car with the turbo, but what a dog once it went! it was well out of warranty, so lucky you for not having to pay the $1,000+ to get it fixed yourself..

Yeah, it's the president. The former president had a C6 (the same, just armored) so that is still part of the 'presidential fleet'. He now has a DS5 hybrid for the summer (it can be a convertible as well, specially built) and I think the C6 is still for winter.
